Part of the Downtown MRT Line (DTL) and located on Ubi Avenue 2, Ubi Station caters primarily to the surrounding commercial estate. The station contains two entrances with sheltered linkways to nearby residences and schools, as well as bus stops and drop-off areas.

The final design saw aluminium panels and granite stone line the exteriors, while a blue, green and white kaleidoscope mixed with the station's prominent bronze theme adorn the walls of the concourse and platform levels.
