The State Courts comprise two towers, with an area of 113,000 sqm. A collaboration between Serie + Multiply Consultants Pte Ltd and CPG consultants Pte Ltd, the towers are linked by a series of link bridges that enable the controlled circulation necessary for the courtroom process.

Ribbed terracotta pre-cast concrete walls in the courtrooms create recall the tiled roofs of nearby historical Chinatown shophouses. At night, external lighting turns the front tower into a volume of glowing glass, highlighting its ribbed claddings.

Within, the courtrooms and offices were designed with a specified luminance capacity, while public circulation areas are illuminated more atmospherically.
